This year Fire prevention week is October 5-11, 2008 and this year
theme is Prevent home fires. This theme is appropriate especially
for Iowa this year. The State Fire Marshall’s office and all
Dickinson County Fire Departments are concerned by the high number
of fire related fatalities in the state.
