Failure to plan is planning to fail.

Preparation is the key to success in handling emergencies. Public safety experts agree that the two most important things to do to be ready are (1) create a family emergency plan and discuss it with all family members, and (2) build a kit so you are able to be self-sufficient for 72 hours after an emergency. In addition, make sure you have a plan for your place of employment as well as for your children at school.
