 charges filed in taxi theft
DCSO filed charges on a theft that occurred in Terril on January 1 2010. Michael Behrends Jr
(23) of Terril is charged with Theft in the 5th degree. Behrends ran from a local cab company
after he was given a ride to Terril from Milford. An investigation of the theft led to Behrends
being charged and a court date has been set. A local taxi company reported that this is a
growing problem and they will press charges on those that fail to pay for their ride.
All persons are innocent until proven guilty.
